Instructions for use
The Pain Relieving Pad is a wellness product, not a medical device. If symptoms persist, consult your medical practitioner.
This device comes with a pad, battery box, strap, AA alkaline battery and information leaflet. If any item is missing upon receipt or if the box appears opened or used, refrain from using the device and contact your seller immediately.
The unit does not contain serviceable parts. Any repairs or attempted modifications to the device will affect the product warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Usage guidelines:
- External use only.
- Do not use on broken or sensitive skin.
- Do not use on known cancer sites.
- Do not use over the genitals.
- Do not use over the heart or close to implants that may be damaged by vibration.
- Do not use the pad on the neck if you have sensitive hearing or hearing difficulties. If you wear a hearing aid, remove it before applying the pain relieving pad to the neck.
- Pregnant women should not use the pad directly over the foetus.
- Do not use in the bath or shower, the device is not waterproof.
- Keep the pad away from temperatures (below 20 or above 39 degrees), direct sunlight, or high humidity (80% or above).
- Do not use in explosive environments.
- In the unlikely event you feel unwell, it causes irritation or bruising to the skin, remove and stop using the pad immediately.
The device is designed for adult use only. It is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children.
Advice and care
Battery
Always use a good quality AA alkaline battery. If the device stops working, or the vibration seems weaker than usual, it may be time to replace the battery. To change the battery, switch off the unit and unplug the pad from the battery box. Undo the small screw that secures the box cover and slide open the cover. Replace the battery, slide the box cover back into place and re-tighten the securing screw. Reattach the pad back into the battery box.
Do not leave the battery in the box for prolonged periods when the device is not being used. Please dispose of old batteries at a battery recycling drop-off centre for proper recycling. Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire.
Warranty
B.E.M.D. Ltd warrants that this product is free of manufacturing defects at the time of its shipment and shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss, damage or expenses directly or indirectly arising from the use of this product.
If B.E.M.D. Ltd determines the product was defective when shipped by the manufacturer, B.E.M.D. Ltd sole responsibility is to replace the product. B.E.M.D. Ltd assumes no further liability. This warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties not expressly set forth herein, whether express or implied by operation or law, or otherwise, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability, suitable for use or performance. The warranty is 2 years on a return to base principle. This warranty does not affect your statuary rights.
